Türkiye is among the most productive countries in the world in terms of renewable energy resources. The advantage of our geographical location is in the region that can make our country one of the most developed countries in the world in terms of both wind energy and solar energy power plants in the future. Our country has the potential to produce 380 billion kWh/year of electricity from solar energy alone. Despite the short sunshine hours in European countries, solar energy systems have begun to become widespread rapidly and country investors have gained the right to grants for the solar power plants they invest in. Germany, which has such a low solar energy potential, has become the country with the most advanced solar energy system infrastructure in the world, thanks to its grant programs.

According to research, our country's sunshine potential is twice as high as Germany's throughout the year. With the advantage of its region, Türkiye is among the countries with very high sunshine hours. The longest sunshine period in Turkey occurs in July. The sunshine duration in Turkey in the month of July is measured as 11.3 hours.

With the new regulation made in the regulation on unlicensed electricity production in the electricity markets, the installed power capacity that can be produced without the need for a license increased from 500 KW to 1MW. Thus, investors will be able to produce electricity in solar power plants up to 1 MW without the need to establish a company or obtain a license. At the same time, within the framework of the policies determined by the government, it provides a 10-year purchase guarantee from the state for the electricity produced by solar power plants in order to accelerate renewable energy investments. Thus, for the investment you have made, the state promises to receive electricity produced by solar energy for 10 years without any disruption. ''
